Saturday, August 19 — Brotherhood of St. Andrew meeting. Newcomers heartily welcome! (At 7:30 am at the church)

Sunday, August 20 — We will focus on pilgrimage as a way to talk about the spiritual life… two of our members will be doing part of the Camino in Spain. You are invited to bring to church a symbol of a pilgrimage you have taken or a symbol of your journey with Christ. Place it in the back of the church on the Columbarium and pick it up after the service.

August 27 — Annual picnic at a private home.

Labor Day weekend — Totally informal Parish campout at Roper State Park in Arizona, 2 hours’ drive from here. Gathering Friday afternoon, stay through Saturday, Sunday OR Monday. We don’t have reservations so it will be whatever it is! The link opens the park website in another tab. Bring RV or tent, bring food for yourselves and to share.

On Sunday, September 10, we will have Rally Day during the coffee hour. This will be in the Parish Hall, and a variety of groups will have booths and sign-up sheets. The emphasis will be on caring for the Family of God at Good Shepherd. Expect to see tables featuring the choir, acolytes, readers, the Altar Guild, Daughters of the King, the Brotherhood of Saint Andrew, Eucharistic Ministers, Eucharistic Visitors, and others.

On Sunday, September 17, our 10:30 service will be Hymns in the Limbs at the Pavilion at Little Walnut Park.
