Welcome! We are updating the website thoroughly and while this is going on, something you want to know might not be visible. If this happens, you can call the church office Mondays through Thursdays, 9AM to 12PM, at 575-538-2015. But pretty soon things will be visible again!
We are a congregation “Living the Love of God”.
We are a welcoming spiritual home for all where we strive to love God and God’s creation and spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me.
We welcome all visitors and hope you will share your time with us. All baptized persons are welcome to participate in Communion. Please identify yourself to Father Paul and Pastor Sarah or the Greeter as a visitor and sign our guest book in the narthex of the church. After each Eucharist, join us in fellowship and refreshments in the parish hall.
Where We Come From
Elizabeth lives out in the Mimbres. Tom and Jane come down from Pinos Altos. They’re usually here for worship, along with everybody from town.
Some live close, but their health keeps them home. A few people live way up by the Cliff Dwellings. For those folks, worship comes to them. We’re a far-flung flock, not scattered.
Although we have many cradle Episcopalians, we have a large number of members who come from other Protestant denominations, as well as from the Roman Catholic tradition. Though we range in age from young children to over ninety, the largest distribution is in the 30-70 age bracket. The interaction of the young and old helps create a stability and commitment within our parish family.
Sarah’s husband is Buddhist. Anne’s husband is Jewish. Glenn’s wife is active in a different church. Martha’s wife doesn’t put much stock in any organized religion. Everyone is welcome.
